Notes - Mom (Susan Theisen) tells the story that was handed down to her by her mother, Ruth Rohleder, that Delia "read tea leaves" with the local Indian's during their visits. She was also interested in some of their herbal or natural medicines because Delia was also a midwife in Oconto Falls. Grandma Ruth used to say that Delia delivered more babies than Ol Doc [mom forgot the name grandma used to say].
Delia kept a scrapbook of Oconto Falls newspaper articles. Mom (Susan Theisen) was unsure if this was a hobby of her's. Aunt Judy had one of the scrapbooks. See pictures for Delia.
Married:
- Married at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna. Rev. Julius Rhode performed the ceremony. Per 55 year wedding aniversary notice in the paper.
