  Mathias Theisen never married, nor had any children. He left his modest inheritence to his neices and nephews from his brothers who themselves preceeded him in death. Although a farmer by trade and of modest means, Mathias owned at least 4 rental properties in the Detroit area (pg. 33, and others, probate record). He immigrated with 2 of his brothers and their parents. It's unknown, as of 08 September 2025 when the emigrated/immigrated or whether they came to America as a family group or not. The child was given the name Joan Joseph. The above report and the presentation of the child happened in the presence of the witnesses Joan Joseph Bündgen, farmer, 30 years of age, and Peter Joseph Bauer [somewhat unsure of “Peter”], farmer, 43 years of age, both from Leimbach.
