  	Norbert “Norb” Theisen, 86, Green Bay, WI died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Marinette, to Frank and Mary (Bernardy) Theisen. Norbert served his country in the U.S. Army with the 451st Artillery Division during World War II. On May 18, 1946, Norb was united in marriage to Delores Jurczykowski at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Green Bay. The couple moved to Madison and Norbert was employed by George Card Vending Co. In 1955, they moved back to Green Bay and he began his career at Northern Paper Mill. He retired in 1982. In his retirement, he worked for JJ Security until 2002. Norbert was a longtime devoted member of St. Joseph Parish. He was a faithful Christian man who was proud of his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Norbert enjoyed woodworking making many gifts for his family. He enjoyed watching the Packers and the St. Louis Cardinals. He is survived by his wife, Delores; four daughters and their spouses, Donna (Richard) Melendy, Debbie Kapla, Darlene (Randy) Matuszak, Denise (Jack) Korpal, all of Green Bay, WI; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, Jeffrey Melendy, Brenda (Tim) Hufschmid, Ken (Mindy) Melendy, Tina (Corey) Kimps, Bob (Amy) Kapla, Laura (Dave) O’Neil, Al (Charity) Kapla, Matthew Matuszak, Alyssa Matuszak, Adam (Heather) Korpal, Sarah (Craig) Nelson; 10 great-grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Fr. Donald Theisen; Vernon (Christine) Theisen; Lawrence (Dee) Theisen; Bob Theisen; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leonard Theisen; two sisters, Kathleen (John) Kroll, Mary Walker; and a son-in-law, Stan Kapla. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday. Friends may also call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Ninth St. and 12th Ave., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. David Kasperek officiating.
